NIT’s Training and Placement
Training & Placement Department of NIT is one of the most promising departments which play an important role in providing opportunities to the students by arranging various Campus Interviews.
The T&P Department of NIT implements and runs many training and technical Skill Development programmes for Campus Recruitment. The department also takes initiatives to make students aware about the current trends and Industry expectations to make them ready for the industry.
NIT is committed in providing excellent engineers to the industries as well as to the society. In shapping the student the T&P dept. takes utmost care of providding excellent entrepreneur who would be helpful in the development of the society. From this point of the view the department conducts various activities for the student from first to final year and has seen the fruits out of such task.
Most of the students of NIT are placed before they actually complete their graduation, the placement activities are carried out when the students are in the final year. Department of Training and Placement organizes career counselling sessions for the students to assist them in their day to day activities and help them to plan their schedule as per the requirement of the industries.
The office is well equipped with excellent infrastructure to support every stage of the campus placement process.Our alumini are also performing well in the industries where they are placed and are in constant touch with TnP dept and their respective departmments.

All the Departments have nominated their faculty and students coordinators who work very hard with full commitment and enthusiasm to conduct the recruitment drives smoothly. They are also involved in all the activities of T & P process taking place from time to time.
Department of Training and Placement also guides the students for higher studies and motivates them to become entrepreneur in order to provide jobs. Instead of becoming mere job seekers we are committed to prepare an army of job providers to strengthen the system. It is a proud privilege for us to see many our students taking their M. Tech. and MBA degrees from top notch IITs and IIMs and from foreign Universities of UK, USA, Australia, Paris, Germany to name a few.
