Dr. Amol Deshmukh is currently working as Principal at Nagpur Institute of Technology, Nagpur. He did his Ph.D in Electronics Engg from VNIT Nagpur in 2010. He is an IIM Alumni having done his Executive Management course on Strategic management from IIM Nagpur. Earlier he has worked as Deputy Director at G.H.Raisoni College of Engineering- An Autonomous Institute. He has received Idols of Maharashtra- Working Professionals award by Sakal Media in 2022, Excellent Teacher Award by Lokmat Media in 2021, Most Distinguished Principal of the Year award by Education Excellence, Outstanding Faculty Mentor Award by Novel Research Academy, Best Principal Award from Institute of Scholars Bangalore, Outstanding Scientist Award by International Science Awards, Most Distinguished Personality of Nagpur region Award by International conference ICSCI, Climate Literacy Leadership Award-2022 by VYO, Manikarnika Kala Bhushan Award by Manikarnika Art Gallery, Best Teacher Award at GHRCE.
He has also worked as International Relations Officer. He has also worked as Coordinator & Nodal officer finance for World Bank Assistance Project. He is Technical Committee Member of Soft Computing-IEEE USA. He has been granted with 03 International Patents and published 03 more patents in the area of Brain Machine Interface. He has to his credit around 150 International Conference and Journal Publications, published 05 Books and 06 book chapters. He has received research grant of 7.37 Lacs from AICTE under Research Promotion Scheme and research grant of 02 lacs from Rajiv Gandhi Science & Technology Commission. 07 research scholars have completed Ph.D under him and 4 are currently pursuing. He has also worked as International Co-Chair for International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering & Technology for 5 years.
