Nagpur Institute of Technology

Nagpur Institute of Technology, Nagpur is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra State.

The Institute is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council. It is engaged in running various Degree courses in Faculty of Engineering like; Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology under the guidance of experienced academicians. Since inception, around 6000 students of the Institute have made their successful career. Majority of them are placed at various Multinational Companies and Government Organisations. Many students have pursued higher education at IITs, NITs, and other reputed Universities and Academic Institutes across India as well as abroad.  Many alumni have setup their own enterprises and are successful Entrepreneurs. Many of our students have made us proud by joining defence sector- in Army, Air Force and Navy.

NIT Polytechnic

NIT Polytechnic, Nagpur is affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), Mumbai. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra State.

NIT Polytechnic was established in 2009 with the purpose of providing educational facilities to the rural and financially weaker section of the society. It is committed to improve the educational scenario of the nearby region through excellence in education, encouraging stakeholders to challenge themselves and hold high aspirations in their academic learning, personal & social development, provide Skill based technical education which can lead to gain up-liftment of unemployed sector.

The Institute is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), which is a very prestigious achievement for an institution which came into existence just 10 years before.  It is engaged in running various Diploma courses in Faculty of Engineering like; Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering under the guidance of experienced academicians. NIT Graduate School of Management

Since its inception in 2009, NIT Graduate School of Management is contributing in imparting quality management education in Central India.

Management being an art and science, NIT Graduate School of Management constantly strives to impart education based on values and knowledge both, which brings out radical changes in the personality of the students.

The institute aims at creating an environment for effective teaching-learning by encouraging the students and faculties to nurture their Intellectual curiosity and scientific research temperament. We at NIT Graduate School of Management constantly strive for improvising learning methodology and impart quality education. We strive to create a balance between imparting logical learning and student understanding. We have a stable academic record of MBA pass out students .The Mentor and Mentee initiatives are giving individual attention to the students.

Since inception, NIT Graduate School of Management has provided an opportunity to the poor and backward students to get educated. The College emphasizes the need to mainstream the marginalized and weaker sections of students to ensure justice and equity in society. The Mission is to steer the education it offers not only towards the pragmatic goal of employability, but also to build a life of the mind and sensitize and orient its students to the service of the community, in the quest for a better life for society and the world that we inhabit.

We have successfully collaborated with many corporate companies for student placement. Companies like Jaro Education, Writer safeguard, HDFC, TCS, ICICI Bank, Esaf Cooperative Bank  has successfully conducted Campus Drives in sync with the institute. In the critical situation of Covid-19 pandemic, we are continuing the legacy of placement. Recently we have successfully organized various campus drives through online mode for companies like BYJUS and students got placed with an annual package of 10 lakh. Internship being a important activity for the MBA institute we are successfully collaborating with companies like The Leading Solution, Tenhard India, Bank of Baroda and many more for giving the student a practical experience of the corporate culture.

The College has provided tremendous thrust and priority to its Program of Diversity Inclusion and Integration – an area distinctive to the Vision of the College. The Vision of the College is to educate, enable and empower rural and underprivileged students, from different rural areas nearby to the  institute. To acclimatize the diversified students and bridge the knowledge and language gap, Communication Skill classes are also organized by the College for them through Students Desk.

Creating a better world requires teamwork, partnerships, and collaboration, as we need an entire group of people to work together to build a better world within the next few decades. This means corporations must embrace the benefits of cooperating with one another. We as an institute had successfully collaborated with international university for student exchange programs. For imparting quality education and let the students avail the opportunity of education, we collaborated with IGNOU (Distant Learning Program) as a study centre. The overall objective of the Memorandum of Understanding is to provide a framework for the partner organizations to rule the relations among them, based on mutual understanding and trust, with a clear definition of concepts and roles and distribution of tasks and responsibilities. We at NIT Graduate School of Management, have MoU’s with various companies like BYJUS, Esaf Co- operative Bank,  The Leading Solution, Tenhard India, Bank of Baroda, HDFC, YES Bank and many more.

 

The institution has initiated several measures in gender equity & sensitization in curricular can be seen from the courses introduced by the institution. The institution promotes gender sensitization through co-curricular activities like workshops, seminars, guest lectures, street plays, poster exhibitions, counseling etc. The institution organized ‘Self-defense training’ for the girl students.

Awareness programs like importance of Human Rights, Rights of Women in Domestic problems, Cyber Security awareness programs related to the safety and security of women employees and students are conducted periodically. The institution provides safety and security facilities for the staffs and students such as CCTV Surveillance throughout the campus and security arrangement. The institution has a dedicated Counseling Centre and good mentoring system for the students to take care of their academic, emotional, social and cognitive development. Personal Counseling is provided to the students at different levels. For being a socially responsible organization, NIT Graduate School of Management is a part of the NSS scheme wherein we induce various activities like Blood Donation Camps, Tree Plantation Programs, Cleanliness drives and many more. For harmony and sensitization amongst the student, we initiated a collaborative activity in the name of RUBAROO, for friendship and quality exchange amongst student.
